The Long-Awaited New Contest!!! (With Double & Bonus Point Rules Below)
I have decided Chouji needs more love.
And I have come up with 3 ways for you to enter & show him some:
Category 1: Fan Art (featuring 2 characters)
You can ship Chouji with any female from the Naruto Anime/Manga
EXCEPT INO.
(Yes I know this is a Shocker coming from me, but this gives the non-ChouIno crowd a category to share their Chouji-X-[fill-in-name] love)
Things to consider:
Decide who you think could be the right girl for him.
Decide why she'd be good for Chouji. (or just hot for him if that's the way you want to go.)
Pick a time, a place, the whole scenario and get to it.
Category 2: Fan Art (featuring 3 characters: One Must be Chouji, One must be Ino)
Is someone is trying to get Ino jealous so she'll pay attention to Chouji?
This time the extra person can be ANY Naruto Character- Female or Male
Things to consider:
Who would help Chouji get the girl of his dreams?
Would Chouji have recruited them or the other way around?
Does Chouji even know that this person is trying to help him?
How will Ino react?
Will Chouji suddenly find himself attracted to someone new? (If the art/story is well done, you might sell me on it)
Pick a time, a place, the whole scenario and get to it.
Category 3: Fanfiction
You can use the descriptions for categories 1 & 2 your preference.

But here's where it gets interesting. I have already listed 5 specific Naruto women in comment over a month ago somewhere on dA (and believe me it's a cryptic comment- nothing to do with the contest).
If you happen to pick one of them for your entry you will get double points if you win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. This means a 3rd place fanfiction entry could win as much as the 1st place entry, if they pick the right character.
Furthermore, if you happen to find it & comment on it, you can add a character you'd rather draw...Male or Female (or, if someone else already commented the character, they automatically become part of the mix).
Final Rules:
You can enter 2 times TOTAL (mix or match categories. example: 2 fanfictions, a Category 1 art & a fanfiction or 2 Category 2 drawings.)
There must be 10 entries in a each Art category for me to close out the Contest and award points. So please share this journal.
If there are more than 20 entries in an art category by the original deadline I will add a fourth place prize of 250 points & 4 random 25 point winners to that category. These will NOT be subject to doubling.
Entries should appear to be finished pieces: No coarse sketches, no drawings on lined paper etc. Soft backgrounds are acceptable as long as the figures are complete.
You can use additional characters to help the story you are trying to convey in your picture/Fanfiction.
I prefer that entries be kept out of mature rating...but if you insist on doing one, be sure to set the appropriate parameters when you post.
Please no Bases.
This must be an Original piece created for this Contest.
